College of Nursing is the result of highly educated social
thinkers and administrators who intend to impart a highly
professional, skilled training in medical and Paramedical
field. A Small initiation in this regard has resulted into
a full blooming college with an annual intake of 30 students
in ANM and 50 Student in GNM. Considering demand of GNM pass-outs
(Staff Nurses) the School/College has also taken the initiative
to start Post -Basic B.Sc. Nursing with and annual intake
of 50 Students. The school in situated on the outskirts of
Tarn-Taran city, on the G.T. Road linking Amritsar with Ferozpur
It is a magnificent building with spacious class rooms and
laboratories. Besides having a Huge and extensive building,
the school prides in it is having spacious lawns and grounds
of badminton, basketball and volleyball. Another worthy feature
of the school is two hostel blocks which are presently accommodating
more then 100 students. A unique feature pertinent to mention
hare is that the school has twenty - four hours supply of
electricity on account of the efforts of management which
has been successful in getting the hotline facility for the
school. Being on the Grand Trunk Road the school is frequented
by 5 minutes bus service, besides the school has its own buses
for plying the students to and from the hospital so that first
class and highly professionalised clinical training could
be imparted to the students. For this purpose the school is
affiliated to the Govt. Medical College, Civil Hospitals and
Ultra - Modern private hospitals. Our pass percentage for
the last three year has been 100%.

Acute shortage of
Nurses is being felt Worldwide. Vacancies of qualified Nurses exist
not only in India, but in USA, UK, Germany, Sweden, Australia, Many
European Countries and Middle East. As a result of this the career
in Nursing is in upswing. While offering a Quality education and
comprehensive training matching the best of the standards at National
and international Sphere, Mai Bhago College of Nursing is making
its best efforts to get the School affiliated to the Foreign Universities
and other Foreign Institutions. In this regard, a special efforts
would be made to impart Education to the Students to appear in the
TOFEL and CGFNS exams.
